What this site is

marchforthmethod.com is the marketing site for March Forth, the sales performance programs run by Chris Pierce. It describes the work and gives you a way to book a call about it. Reading it, or booking a call through it, means you accept the terms on this page. If you do not, the right move is to close the tab.

These terms cover the site. They do not cover a paid engagement, which gets its own written agreement.

This is coaching, not therapy

March Forth is performance coaching and training for people who sell. It is education and skill work, aimed at how you handle pressure, rejection and your own head inside a sales role.

It is not psychotherapy. It is not counseling, clinical care, medical advice, diagnosis or treatment of any condition. Nothing on this site or in the programs creates a therapist-client or doctor-patient relationship, and nothing here should be taken as a substitute for care from a licensed provider.

Chris holds a master's degree in sport and performance psychology and has spent his career in performance settings. He is not delivering licensed psychological services to you through this site or through March Forth, and no professional-licensure relationship is formed by working with him here.

No guarantee of results

Everything this site describes about what the work can do is illustrative. It is what we have seen happen, not a promise about what will happen to you.

Results depend on you, your team, your market, your product and how much of the work you actually do. We do not guarantee any level of sales performance, quota attainment, revenue, income, promotion or business outcome, and nothing on this site should be read as that kind of guarantee. Past results, including any client story or credential shown here, do not predict yours.

The materials belong to us

The copy, design, photographs, diagrams, frameworks, worksheets, exercises, session materials and the March Forth name and marks are owned by Chris Pierce Consulting LLC or used under license, and are protected by copyright and trademark law.

If you take part in a program, you get a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the materials for your own work and inside your own organization, for as long as the engagement runs and afterwards for your own reference.

That license does not let you resell them, publish them, post them publicly, feed them to a model for training, or teach from them as your own. Running the method inside your team is the point. Running it as a product for other people is not, and needs our written permission first.

Booking a call, and paid work

The discovery call is free and it commits neither of us to anything. Booking one does not create a client relationship or oblige us to work together.

Any paid engagement is set out in a separate written agreement covering scope, schedule, fees and cancellation. That agreement governs the work, and where it conflicts with this page, it wins. No price on this site is an offer, because there are no prices on this site.

Using the site

Use the site for its purpose. Do not try to break it, scrape it at volume, probe it for weaknesses, or use it to send anything unlawful. We may take the site down, change it, or change these terms whenever we need to.

Links to other people's sites

Booking runs through Calendly, and other links may point somewhere else. Those services are not ours. We do not control them, we are not responsible for what they do, and their own terms and privacy policies apply once you land there.

Liability

The site is provided as it is. To the fullest extent the law allows, we make no warranties about it, express or implied, including that it will be accurate, uninterrupted or fit for a particular purpose.

To the fullest extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential loss, or for lost profits, lost revenue or lost business, arising out of the site or the work. Where we are liable, our total liability is capped at the amount you paid us in the twelve months before the claim, or one hundred US dollars if you have paid us nothing.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for fraud, or for death or personal injury caused by negligence.

You agree to cover us against claims arising from your misuse of the site or your breach of these terms.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Hawaii, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any dispute goes to the state or federal courts sitting in the City and County of Honolulu, Hawaii, and we both agree to that venue.

If a court finds any part of these terms unenforceable, the rest stays in force.

Changes

We may update these terms. When we do, the date at the top of the page changes with it, and the version you are reading is the one in force.
